About this event

Maziar Bahari (BA '93) has been an award-winning journalist, Newsweek correspondent in Iran for over a decade, and a documentarian. His films include Football, Iranian Style​, Mohammad and the Matchmaker, and Targets: Reporters in Iraq.

His is also the bestselling author of Then They Came For Me, the moving memoir of his time in an Iranian prison. The adaptation of this book was Jon Stewart's directorial debut, Rosewater, with Bael Garcia Bernal playing Bahari.

Bahari will be in conversation with Professor Elizabeth Miller, Department of Communication Studies.
